Ice Tycoon 2 Secrets
Four hidden spots, separate from the 5 gems, each worth a permanent +5% income once you trigger it. Two of them show up in every community guide we checked; the other two show up in some but not all. Both groups are tracked below, labeled honestly.
Community-reported, not first-party tested by us step-by-step — the two "Reported" spots showed up in some guides we checked but not others, so verify in-game as you go.
No gem progress saved in this browser yet — tick some off on the gem tracker and this total updates to include them.
What Ice Tycoon 2 secrets actually do
Secrets are a separate category from gems, even though they pay out the same way: find one, trigger it, and it locks in a permanent +5% income boost that never expires and survives every rebirth. The gems page already covers the 5 gems and the Gem Upgrader they unlock — this page is only about the other four things, the ones that feed the in-game Secret Finder badge instead of the Collector badge.
That distinction matters more than it sounds like it should, because a lot of write-ups blur the two together — some count the 5-gem hunt itself as "the first secret," which inflates the total to five and makes the math confusing when you're trying to figure out how much income you've actually banked. This site keeps them apart: gems have their own tracker, secrets have this one, and the combined total at the bottom of the widget above adds them together for you instead of making you do it by hand.
The two secrets every guide agrees on
We cross-checked four independent community write-ups against each other before publishing this page. Two secrets showed up in all four, described almost the same way each time.
| Secret | Where | How to trigger it |
|---|---|---|
| Statue button | The large statue near the middle of the map | Climb up and press the button near its right arm. |
| Water tank | The water tank near your base | Fill the bucket at the well, dump it into the tank until it's full, climb inside, and let it submerge you. |
Neither one takes long once you know the trigger — the statue button is a straight climb, and the water tank is mostly waiting for the bucket runs to fill it. If you only have a few minutes to spend on secrets before your next rebirth, these two are the ones worth prioritizing, since you won't burn time second-guessing whether you found the right spot.
The two secrets guides don't fully agree on
Past the statue and the water tank, the four guides we checked split. Two of them independently described an invisible wall at a fallen log — a dirt wall blocked by a log where walking past the log flings you into water. The other two described a roof-to-gap drop near a building on the cliff side instead, and one of those two also mentioned a separate underground passage that none of the other three sources corroborated at all.
Rather than pick whichever version sounds more confident and present it as fact, this page lists both the log secret and the roof-drop secret as "reported," and leaves out the uncorroborated underground-passage claim entirely, since a single source with no backup is exactly the kind of thing that ends up wrong on guide pages. If you find either one in-game, the tracker above will still let you check it off — this is a note about how confident we are in the write-up, not a claim that the secret itself doesn't exist.
We'll firm this section up once more runs settle which description is accurate, the same way the badge tracker's ending write-up treats the disputed rebirth-count threshold for the two endings. Practically, this means it's worth checking the tracker above before you go hunting — if you already have all four boxes ticked from an earlier session, there's no reason to go back and re-verify a disputed spot you've already found, the disagreement is about how the location gets described, not about whether your own in-game progress is real.
How secrets fit with gems and the Secret Finder badge
Gems and secrets are both permanent +5% income sources, but they unlock different badges and live on different trackers on this site. The 5 gems feed the Collector badge and the Gem Upgrader once all five are slotted in — that whole process is covered on the gems page. The 4 secrets on this page feed Secret Finder instead, which sits in the collection-and-cleanup group on the full badge tracker alongside Escapist, Voyager, Collector, Drop, and Up and Running.
None of the trackers talk to each other automatically — ticking a gem off on the gems page doesn't check anything off here, and vice versa. The combined income line inside the widget above is the one place on this site that reads both totals at once, so you can see the full permanent-income picture without adding it up by hand before you decide whether your next rebirth is worth taking.

Secret questions
How many secrets are in Ice Tycoon 2?
Four, separate from the 5 gems that already have their own tracker on this site. Each secret gives a permanent +5% income boost, and finding all four is what the in-game Secret Finder badge is actually asking for.
Do secrets expire or reset when I rebirth?
No. Secrets are permanent, the same as gems — only trophies reset on rebirth, and even those can be preserved with a Laboratory upgrade once you unlock it.
Which two secrets are the safest to go for first?
The statue button and the water tank. Every guide we cross-checked describes the same trigger for both, which is more agreement than the other two get.
Are these secret locations first-party confirmed by Slized Games?
No. Same as the gem routes on this site, they come from community guides rather than a developer changelog. We checked four independent write-ups against each other — two agreed closely on all four secrets, the other two each described a different fourth spot, which is why this page splits them into confirmed and reported instead of presenting one list as settled.
Is my secrets progress saved if I close the tab?
Yes, ticks are saved in this browser's local storage, the same way the gems and badges trackers work. It won't follow you to another device or browser, but it'll be here next time on this one.

Secrets stack straight into what your next rebirth is worth.
Every secret you've ticked adds +5% to what the calculator projects, on top of your gems.
See what it's worthHow we compiled this: the four secrets and their triggers come from cross-checking four independent community guides against each other and against this site's own gem and badge write-ups. The statue button and water tank matched across all four sources, so they're listed as confirmed. The other two matched across two sources each but not all four, so they're labeled reported rather than confirmed — and a fifth, single-sourced claim (an underground passage) was left out entirely for lack of a second source. None of this is first-party from Slized Games; we'll tighten it as more runs settle the disputed parts.
